Jeremiah Mundy is 18 years old and one of a number of talented young ice hockey players who are pursuing their dreams with great dedication and determination. The winger combines physical presence with a high level of commitment and clear prospects for development.
School in the everyday life of a talented ice hockey player
For Jeremiah, it is important to continue his education alongside ice hockey. Competitive sports involve an intensive training and competition schedule. This makes it all the more important to have an environment that allows for individual solutions.
Jeremiah found exactly this structure at the Swiss Academy Zurich. Instead of a rigid class model, the academy focuses on personalized learning paths, flexible time models, and individual support. This allows him to combine school and competitive sports and develop both areas in parallel. In addition, services such as mental coaching are available to support personal development. The Swiss Academy Group also helps with organizational issues and offers access to a broad network of contacts.
This allows Jeremiah to combine school and competitive sports and develop both areas in parallel.
On the road in competitive ice hockey
Jeremiah Mundy joined the Swiss Academy in 2022. He completed his ice hockey training in Switzerland with HC Davos and SC Rapperswil Jona Lakers. Most recently, he played for HC Davos in the U21 Elite and progressed through the ranks of the Swiss junior national teams.
Since October 2025, Jeremiah has been continuing his career in Canada for a year, playing for the Brooks Bandits from Alberta, a BCHL team with professional youth structures and a clear development path towards college and professional ice hockey. His long-term goal is to make the leap to the NHL.
At the same time, he is continuing his school education online and aiming to obtain his A-levels. In this way, he is combining academic progress at high school level with optimal conditions for development in competitive sports.
On the ice, Jeremiah impresses as a physically strong winger with high commitment, intensity in one-on-one situations, and reliability in team play. He sees his development as a continuous process and works consistently on technical and tactical details.
The Swiss Academy Group continues to support Jeremiah on his journey with individual guidance, flexible educational models, and a strong network. We are proud to support young athletes with courage, determination, and passion, and wish Jeremiah every success for his time in Canada and his future sporting career.
